Engineered with structural wide-flange I-beams, these systems accommodate a wide range of lumber sizes, weights, and moisture requirements. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, they optimize storage and improve safety for lumber yards and warehouses.
Each layout is engineered to your lumber lengths, bundle weights, and handling method. Many yards combine configurations by species, grade, or job.

Lumber often lives in both places, and the rack differs for each. Dexco engineers the right system for where your stock sits.
Works with your yard: tell us what lives inside, what lives outside, and how you move it, and we design each accordingly.
Ready to rethink how you store lumber? Tell us what lives inside, what lives outside, and how you move it, and we’ll design each accordingly.
Dexco lumber racks are built from 50 KSI wide-flange I-beams, with arms supporting 20,000 lbs each and custom configurations are possible for higher loads. Capacity is engineered to your bundle weights, arm length, and spacing, with safety factors built in.
Yes. Dexco Cantilever racks can stand entirely on their own outdoors, no building required, and a hot-dip galvanized finish resists corrosion, UV, and temperature extremes. If you want covered storage, you can pair the cantilever racks with a shed: T-shed, L-shed, and drive-thru configurations all add a canopy over the same open-face cantilever setup, keeping rain and snow off the material while forklifts load straight from the side.
Dexco lumber racks are compatible with forklifts, side loaders, cranes, and automated retrieval systems. The open-face design enables direct front access, and stop bars let crews pull specific bundles without disturbing nearby inventory.
